A pretty opaque white and clear fused glass hanging bird Christmas decoration by Anna French of Fizgig Glass. The bird measures 4 3/4ins/11.5cms across and is suspended by a nylon thread 14ins/35.5cms long. The bird has silver metallic and dichroic glass inclusions and there are several beads along the thread's length.

A fine vase by accomplished glass artist John Burton. This superb, heavy piece is 7 1/2ins/19cms in height and is a dark turquoise blue surrounded by a network of tiny bubbles, the whole encased in clear glass. It is finished with a series of shallow ovals cut into the surface around the lower part of the vase.

Signed and dated 'J.R.Burton 2000'.
