Michael Harris started the Isle of Wight factory in 1973 on his return from Malta. Some of the designs and colours used initially were reminiscent of Mdina glass but the pieces are more finely blown. Elizabeth, Michael’s wife, began to design for the factory in the 1980’s, joined by their sons, Timothy and Jonathan. Since Michael’s death in 1994 the factory has continued to produce inspired art glass.Click on picture for a larger image.
